Privacy Policy

Effective:

Galivo works on your iPhone. Your photos, videos, searches and voice never leave your device. We don’t collect, store or sell any of your data. There’s no account, no tracking, no ads and no analytics.

Who we are

Galivo is made by Luteg Software Technologies (“we”, “us”). For the purposes of the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Turkey’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), we are the data controller for any personal data we process. Because of how Galivo is built, we do not process personal data through the app.

What happens on your device

To search and clean up your library, Galivo analyzes your photos and videos on your iPhone. The results of this analysis, your searches and the app’s settings are stored only in the app’s storage on your device. They are never sent to us or to anyone else. If you delete Galivo, this data is deleted with it.

  • Photos and videos: read from your photo library with your permission and analyzed on your device. Never uploaded.
  • Searches: processed on your device. Never sent anywhere.
  • Voice search: your speech is converted to text by your iPhone’s on-device speech recognition. If on-device recognition isn’t available for your language, the microphone button isn’t shown. Audio is not recorded or stored.
  • Location in photos: if your photos contain location information, Galivo matches it to place names using a database included in the app. It does not use online location services and does not access your device’s current location.
  • Deleting: when you delete items, Galivo asks iOS to move them to Recently Deleted in the Photos app, after the iOS confirmation. You can recover them there for 30 days.

Permissions

Galivo needs access to your photo library to work. Microphone and speech recognition access are requested only if you tap the microphone. You can change these at any time in iOS Settings. With limited photo access, Galivo works only with the photos you select.

The one-time download

On first launch, Galivo downloads a file it needs for smart search (about 510 MB) from our static file host, models.galivo.app, served by Cloudflare. This is the only time the app connects to the internet. The request contains no personal data, no identifiers and nothing about your photos. Like any web server, the host may briefly process your IP address to deliver the file. We do not receive, access or keep this information, and we do not use it to identify you. After the download, Galivo works fully offline.

What we don’t do

  • No account or sign-in
  • No analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs
  • No selling or sharing of data
  • No profiling or automated decisions about you
  • No cloud processing of your photos, searches or voice

This website

galivo.app has no analytics, ads, trackers or third-party scripts. It sets a single first-party cookie, galivo_lang, only when you pick a language or open a Turkish page, so we can show you the language you chose next time. It holds just en or tr and expires after a year. If your browser’s preferred language is Turkish and you haven’t picked one, we show the Turkish page; this happens on our server and nothing is stored.

Purchases and crash reports

You buy Galivo through the App Store. Apple handles payment and refunds under its own privacy policy; we don’t receive your payment details. If you choose to share crash reports and analytics with app developers in iOS Settings, Apple may provide us with anonymized crash reports. These do not include your photos, searches or voice.

If you contact us

If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply to you. We keep this correspondence only as long as needed to help you, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

Children

Galivo is not directed at children and doesn’t collect data from anyone, including children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country).

Your rights

Under GDPR and KVKK you have rights such as access, correction, deletion and objection. Since we don’t hold data about you from the app, there’s usually nothing to access or delete. For any correspondence data (see “If you contact us”), write to privacy@galivo.app. You can also complain to your local data protection authority (in Turkey: the Personal Data Protection Authority, KVKK).

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the effective date above. If a change affects how your data is handled, we’ll say so in the app’s update notes before it takes effect.
